I'm an on-brand, value-focused, and results-driven digital marketing professional with experience concepting, implementing and growing marketing programs by increasing customer engagement, brand awareness, and conversion through the use of integrated marketing communications campaigns. I'm also an effective communicator through compelling copy and tight editing. I'm a critical thinker with a customer-focused mindset and detail-oriented project management skills. On January 10, 2016, I graduated with honors with my Masters of Science in Marketing & Communication from Franklin University's Ross College of Business. My Final GPA: 4.0. On November 18, 2015, I was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration. I also have a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from Eastern Washington University (2000) as well as a Certificate in Copy Editing from MediaBistro.com (2011) and a Certificate of Writing for Children from Seattle Central College (2012). On July 18, 2015, my unpublished picture book manuscript titled "Ella's Umbrella" won first place in the children's category of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest.
I coach my own local run club named the Left Coast Runners. We use the hashtag #LeftCoastRunners on social media on Twitter and Instagram (and we communicate through a secret Facebook page). P.S. Here is a project I completed in graduate school where I analyzed web and advertising usability and metrics for running companies. Here is my final graduate school capstone where I gave recommendations for a local running company on ways to advertise in an Olympic Year. The final capstone includes a Literature Review, Fieldwork Analysis, Applications, Recommendations, Conclusion, References, and an Appendix with mocked-up designs.
